Barrow And Givens Shine On Superb Day At 2022 Hazzad Golf Classic

The Winners

Callan Barrow shot an impressive -5 under par 66 to win the Hazzad Golf Classic at Northcliffe Golf Club. Nick Marsh and Liam O'Neill both close behing on -4. Ladies European Tour player and Hazzad Golf Ambassador Ellie Givens was in 5th place on -2 under.

Andy Carr was the "Tour experience" winner.

Earlier in the morning Archie Greenwood Jowett won the Hazzad Junior Classic, mentions must go to Charlie Evans and Mila Dodds who won their respective divisons in the junior competition.

Ellie Givens also won the top prize for the nearest the pin shoot out

2020 Pro Tour, Hazzad Golf Classic

The Sun shone brightly on a magnificently warm and sunny day at Northcliffe Golf Club. Over 60 professional golfers entered the prestigious event, arguably the flagship event on the 2020 Pro Tour.

A diverse and inclusive field including Ladies European Tour players Ellie Givens and Georgia Coughlin.

In addition to the prize money, a "hole in one" on the "most picturesque final hole in Yorkshire" according to Peter Aliss would have won a BMW Z4 donated by Drive by Design. Sadly there was no winner also a few went very close indeed.

The day was superbly supported by the patrons of the club and special thanks must go to the army of volunteers and the green staff who presented the course in fabulous condition.
